Make it your Best Year!

WHAT IS BEST YEAR?

Best Year is a 16-week course to help students (preschool - college) develop the skills, habits and behaviors they need to have their Best Year.  The program is designed for anyone working with students - teachers, coaches, mentors, and parents. You will receive 16 weekly age-appropriate videos on topics like growth-mindset, gratitude, courage, and well-being. Every video will come with at least two prompts to be used for small group conversations or journaling. For those who are interested, there are also worksheets you can use as extensions.

THE HEART BEHIND BEST YEAR

My passion is to help people - in classrooms, on courts, on fields, and in board rooms - become the best versions of themselves. I have no greater desire than to be the best version of myself and help others do the same. I do not ever ask people to do anything I have not already done or am not currently practicing. That is why I am here today. I am inviting you and your classroom (whether you are a homeschool parent or a classroom teacher or run a club or coach a team) to join me on a mission - to have the best year yet. The goal of this project - “This Year As My Best Year” - is to engage as many educators and young people in an adventure to become the best possible versions of ourselves. I want every student to know they have value, to discover and develop their talents, to know they each have something to offer our communities. I know from my decades of experience that students need to know the person in front of them. We are all becoming something. Let’s become the best versions of ourselves this year!
